My family has a choyxona (tea house) in Karakalpakstan. My region is famous for a big river named Amu Darya, cotton and the Aral Sea. Travellers stop in our choyxona for a rest on their way to the desert. We serve traditional Uzbek food such as osh (plov), tomato and cucumber. And of course, we also serve tea. We live very close to the border with our neighbouring country, Turkmenistan.
